This Amsterdam-based Jazz-Duo creates a fine mix of Jazz, Latin and Pop. Martin Diaz, who is originally from Barcelona, combines a great respect for the century-long jazz-tradition with explorations into the rhythmic, harmonic and melodic realms of the contemporary forms. He released his first album as a leader "Identities" in 2020. Daan Sanders, who was born in Amsterdam, is as much influenced by Bach and Debussy as by Bill Evans and Chick Corea. His newest album "About Time" was released in January 2021. Martin and Daan play their original music, forming a virtuoso duo full of expression.
